This is my first grow, first harvst..Starte with 6 plants ended up with 4 females.. Flowered for about 10 weeks too, they sprouted on oct. 16th. Harvested the last three today, and they all look different. Some with a nasty skunk smell, and others with the piney scent when u give it a light squeeze..IF YOU FLOWER LONGER I GAURNUNTEE YOUR BUDS WILL BE HUGE.. lol there the size of my remote.. Here's what I used:
-400 watt hps
-Tent/Nutes/Bagseed from my local dealer

Questions:
1. How should I trim them? I mean I plan to hang dry them in the baseent for 5 days then into jars BUT how should I manicure?

2. ANY OTHER PERSONAL HARVEST TIPS APPRECIAETD BECAUSE THIS WILL PROBABLY BE MY LAST GROW FOR A WHILE

looks great man...I would just trim the buds cutting all the excess leaves that are sticking out..especially the dead leaves...then just let them air dry for 1-2 weeks...you might want to put a oscillating fan on a low speed near them...but keep it a reasonable distance...just enough to keep a draft going in the room..especially if there is a lot of humidity down there...that should keep them from getting any mold on them...rule of thumb I have read is that they are dry enough to start curing when you can bend the stems and they almost break...as far as curing I think quart jars work great...but you have to open them 3-4 times a day for a few min...do that for a bout 3 weeks or so..biggest thing in curing is if you don't air the buds out regularly then its possible for mold to form..dont want to ruin all your hard work...then after 3-4 weeks of curing you should have your final product...but if you continue to store them in the jars..its still always good to open them regularly to let out any humidity...aleast even a month after you are done curing...as far as smell its a nice thing..but dont let it fool ya...even those stinky skunk buds will mess you up pretty good...all depends on the levels of THC, CBD, and CBN's...but i think they look great man...excellent job!!

Air dry for a few weeks lol don't listen to this newb, if you let them air dry for that long your buds would be so dry they would turn into dust



Dude hang them out for 3 to 5 days then put them into jars......and burp the jars when needed

you gotta love how polite people are on here...if he had taken time to read the rest he would have noticed I had said the best way to know if your bud is dry enough is to check the stems..and yes I have had bud that took more than a week, almost two to dry...even if it does feel over dried once you place it in the curing phase it will soften right back up...anyway i do not claim to be a know it all person, but when someone is asking for advice I try to give it to them...not try to come down on someone else advice in a rude way...but that only show's one maturity level and ability to converse properly in this world ..so thumbs up to you Natrone for being such a "smart guy"..

I think that what I need to do because the first plant I harvested I left hangin for 7 days, then placed in bags for a day then into jars.. My basement isnt that moist so it can prob do it in 4/5 days.

As far as those dead leaves.. I can pick out some but I mean fuck there all gonna be dead in a couple days, and I rather not cut any pistils/tricks off..

Where can I get some cheap jars from?

One of the plants hermed too.. It sucks but i guess ill sell it i dunno it just looks gross.. Buds are big bud theres little banana things pokin outa the buds n i found a seed already.. Ever heard of these before?
