Default 14 hours of light near harvest??

I know I'll prob. get shit for this because it's probably been asked, anyways. I just saw this video on youtube about harvesting, sorry no link. It probably just said harvesting weed or something.



The guy in it said he would give his plants 14 hrs of light daily while flushing nearing harvest time, and get great results and more thc. Is this bull? Or a good idea. I'm at almost 7 weeks, so I'de like to know. Thanks everyone!
