ok so i have a question about curing. i cant do any step what so ever of growing inside, including curing. I was curious if it was ok if i were to cure the bud outside. like find a place in the woods where absolutely no one goes and put up some string to hang the bud on and maybe make like a tarp tent over it just incase it rains. i would think it would be alright. i dont kno what the cool weather or maybe humidity would do to the drying bud.

Oo.. bugs galore I would say. And it would dry out fast if you leave in a windy place dry place like me. And you want to dry it in the dark, so definitely hang it in a dark spot with something like a tarp over as much of it as possible and go open it up and air it out everyday. Then again ive never done outdoor .. ..

Most of the old "Gold" weed of the 70's was dried outside and it was some pretty fantastic stuff~ That's what gave it the gold color but it takes quite a while to sunbleach and you'd degrade quite a bit of the resin in the process.

dam. so anyone have any ideas on how to dry it somewhere other than in my apt. i was thinkin in my truck but that dont seem like a good idea to drive around with it. i might have my bike by then tho so i could possibly use the truck

How much are you planning on your yield? What if you took a large plastic (waterproof/lightproof) container. Drilled some hooks into the inside of the lid, drilled some vent holes through the container - covered those with some bug screen like in windows... Tie/hook your branches/colas to the lid, snap it into place, tie it to a tree out there so some deer or fox or whatever wont steal it..

No idea if it would work correctly but I wouldn't see any huge problems assuming you put enough holes into it so the buds dont mold...

Why cant you do anything indoors? Parents or roomates or what?

i got 2 roomates that are okay with me smokin and all but no growing. one of the roomates dad owns the place and works with my dad so if i get cought my dad will find out and thats no good.
