Default How do you cure seeds?
So I've bred THC Bomb to Super Silver Haze, Mazar and Bubblegum, so you could say I've got a few seeds. My question is, once I get the seeds off the plants how do I go about curing them? Apparently they need to dry a bit before they can be used, so do I do this in a dark and cool spot, light and warm spot, dark and warm? How long does this process take? I'm lost

Also, without squeezing the shit out of buds, is there an easy way to find seeds that aren't visible?

Any help is appreciated.

I'm only parroting what i have read in the past, since I have yet to start a breeding program.

I believe the seeds need to be kept in a cool, dark, dry environment. You can use a dessicant like silica gel, or some rice grains to help maintain a dry environment. Then just store them in your fridge until you need them.

Hope this helps.

if you fridge them, make sure they are dry and in air tight container. the seeds are best left til they drop off or plant is on way out, i just put mine in a cardboard box on kitchen paper towel ffor a few weeks, my first bb was planted a day after it came off plant but i think they may b better cured 1st.

yeah, by "cure" i meant the drying process since they are fresh off the plants, not the process of storing them for a long time.

so you just waited for them to fall off the plant? did most fall off before you pulled the plant or during the drying phase? the super silver haze seeds are falling off all over the place, so i'm trying to pick them off the plant now so that i don't get the seeds mixed up.
