has anyone used a food grade type dessicant to dry bud while in jars.
more of a mold preventative.
ex: silica gel

only on fungi...dont see why it would hurt as long as its kept isolated

lol its hard to isolate 30 grams of drying bud in jars.........................................and no Ive known it to be bad to add or atleast from reading about it... google it sure to come up with something usefull

i have glued silca gel sacks to the underside of mason jar lids before storing some bud. I thought it couldn't hurt anything and it didn't.
as of if it helped anything, who knows? I didn't get mold or anything - but then i never have even without it.

funny, my 17 year old son found the silca gel jar and then glued a pic of himself under another of my stash jar lids. Funny, smartass kid.

He's now 18 and we enjoy the ganja together....

anyways, i wouldn't use it to dry bud, just to help eliminate moisture during storage.
