I am cutting my plants tomorrow. I have read many threads about harvesting. The way I am leaning towards in drying is, dry with no light for 3-5 days, then paper bag, in and out every other day until stems start to snap, then put in glass Jars, Pop every 18-24 hours to vent.
What do you guys think? and How much will this sweet'n up this bud? I tested a little nudget, and it was stoney as hell, but tasted green.

That sounds just fine, and will make for some sweet buds. Drying for only 3-5 days must mean that you will remove the leaf before, which is the way that I prefer, simply because it is easier to snip a turgid leaf.

I removed some of the big leafs. but I could not get my humidity above 30%. I am on my second grow now. I will have a room set up with a humidifier set up on a sensor to keep the humidty correct, and the room also has cooling to kepp the temps down. |

Be sure to check it after 3 days, it may be dry enough for the bag... you don't want it to dry out too much too fast.

What a MONSTER this freaky plant is!!!! I started with 8 plants from seed. have a 3'X3' flood drain system. 7 of the 8 tunred out to be male.. DOH!!!! So I put all my effort into the one girl.. WOW!! She loves me big time. She is a MONSTER. 6 1/2' tall, minimum 3' diameter, up to 4' Dia. in places. and Two Colas the size of my calfs. I think I will get as much from her as I would out of three of the others if they had lived. I look at this monster, and I see an easy 4 zips of the bomb, and 2 zips of pop corn, plus all the sugar trimmings. This is going to be a very good harvest. I even have a brand new set of bubble bags. |
