Ok. Before you start giving me shit about this hear me out.

So i got a male, bad luck eh. I heard somewhere that adding aspirin to the water would fuck with the plant and make it hermi. So i tried it and it is now a hermi. let me make this clear I HAVE A HERMAPHRODITE marijuana PLANT AND I ADDED ASPIRIN TO THE IT'S WATER.

Now for all you who think this theory is a myth, and i know there are allot of you, have you ever tried it?
Everyone seemed so sure that it was a myth on another thread but how many of you tried it?

now for the details.
Outdoor grow
Soil in pot plant
5 nodes tall (small plant maybe a foot high)
When it showed its first signs of being male i added the aspirin to its water.
It now CLEARLY has male and female parts and its making seeds atm.

Please share your EXPERIENCE with me.
only tell me that it doesn't work if you have tried it.

Yes - does adding asprin turn a male into a hermie or either sex into a hermie?

my jeorge c book said do not use asprin it cases hermies,it is used to change ph but not worth it

lol that means u just made 100 percent male seeds then, not sure if those are that good. But thats only what i think i may be wrong try it out and u may be on to something

What if it was pure coincidence that the plant was a hermie after aspirin was added to the water? Maybe it would have been a hermie even if aspirin was not added. How can you tell? Do you have a control group of the same strain that were not given aspirin water to verify this?

First: thanks for the responses.
Second: please tell me what scientific background leads you to believe that they will all be males, i am dying to know just how your scientific mind came to this amazing conclusion. what i am trying to say is if you have not tried this then you have no proof.

I had 2 males out of 5, which isn't a bad turnout, i added aspirin to one male and left the other to grow freely. The Hermi is the one i added aspirin too.

Now you guys are right this could be coincidence so thats why i started this thread to see other people's EXPERIENCES.

If anyone has any males that they would like to do this experiment with please do, and show your results here.

Your evidence is all anecdotal. akin to a statement like" All heroin addicts have at some point in their lives drank milk, milk causes people to become heroin addicts". You have to use the scientific method to prove that the aspirin caused the plant to hermie.

Ok. lets set this straight.
This thread is not me telling everyone that Aspirin causes Hermi's, its me ASKING if anyone else has had the same experience or similar. I know very little about marijuana but i know what is involved in an experiment, i see that my data is insufficient so i am asking the rest of RIU to help me out and share their experiences or shed some light (scientifically) on what might be going on.
