Default COLD drying
going to dry my harvested girls in the loft but the only problem i have is its pretty bloody cold up there (uk grower) but luckily its also fairly dry, i do have a small ceramic heater but i dont think it'll make a massive difference.

anyone got any experience with lower temp drying? im hoping it will just take longer but if i get mold i will be absolutely gutted!

as long as you have air move ment and the plants are not stacked in a pile, you should just have a longer dry time which is good

Agree Buggs...I actually live in a cold cold area of the US and I just had a harvest. I dried some inside the house and also in the attic to see what would happen. I grew up around "Flash Freezing." (my family owns a business that flash freezes) Obviously flash freezing would not work, but I thought about cold and tried it. I have to admit, they came out real nice, took a long time, but were very nice!!

Alright fella, i'm in the UK aswell and also dry my harvest in the loft. It is probably an ideal place to dry it properly, mine is also cool but very dry which will almost eliminate the chances of mould unless your stacking damp buds on top of each other as someone has already mentioned, it will take slighty longer to dry properly but I think thats a good thing as it is drying properly, When you dont rush a Sunday roast it tastes alot better, can only enhance the flavour in my opinion.
I can reccomend jumbo dring racks from www.greenshorticulture.co.uk and I have a small halogen heater that I place 2ft or so away from the rack so the heat gradually rises through it
