Whats up everyone... this is my first grow and this is day 61 of flowering. My question is the main cola seems to want to continue to grow as the pistils are still predominantly white and the other buds are 50% amber. I'm using a 4x24w fluorescent... should I raise the light?

Hair color is meaningless, leave your light as close as possible and stop feeding them from now on .

Stopped feeding yesterday... just getting water every other day now. How much longer do you think I have? Also is it safe to say this plant could yield >1oz dried?

Have you flushed out your soil? if not your going to want to do so. Run a shit load of water through the pot till it runs clear. I do this for the last two weeks of flower every time I water just to make sure there is no build up. Give her two more weeks and she should be all finished for sure. I bet you will get at least an ounce of dired but even more since you got 2 weeks to go it will fattem up nicley in that time. Nice plant!! T5/s work great I use them aswell for flower

you have too much nitrogen in your plants thats why they are still growing and not budding only,you need higher levels of p and k for good bud growth.

those are the darkest shade leaves i have ever seen without going over board,i comend you on that.

Looking at the pics again and reading buggs post. I urge you to start flushin next watering for sure. You will notive the fan leave start to turn yellow this is a good thing. If you skip this step you will be left with bad tasting shity burning herb. Trust me I did it on my first grow. I never flushed just gave plain water for the last two weeks. the quality of my weed suffered greatly, foul bitter tasting bud. I learned my lesson. I now flush the shit otu of my plants befor harvest.

Another thing when using Florecents even HO t5s I find plants take a little longer to fully mature. This is why you may see uneveness. dont fret! its fine just let it go a week longer or so. be patient and it will pay of with some nice yield and great tasting herb

Dont forget to flush!

I agree, floros do take longer, you've probably got 3+ weeks to go, you want to see those leaves turning yellow and dropping off so your not smoking chlorophyll and your buds don't smell like hay for months. I'd say you've got about an ounce maybe 1 1/2 even. They pack on the weight the last weeks so you don't want to be harvesting too soon.

Sounds good! I'll start flushing tomorrow. I'm just weary of overwatering or fucking something up this late into the process! Will the leaves really turn yellow that fast? (Within the week or two I have left)

I'm looking at the trichs and its pretty hard to decipher between clear and milky with no microscope.

Give her 2.5 more weeks. Flush tommarow. dont worry about over watering. Just make sure the pot dries out compleatly befor you flush again. The leaves will start to turn yellow in a week after flushing.
