Epic question here...
I assume that lots of you here have heard of Hookah's? (Shisha, Nargile ect.)
Well for those who don't they are pretty much a water pipe used for smoking flavored tobacco. The tobacco is cured with Molasses with flavor of choice, eg. blueberry apple cherry and such.

Well i was wondering can you do this with weed? Cure weed in Molasses with flavor so that it can be smoked in a Hookah without tobacco?

And if you know how to do this what type of flavoring and molasses do you use?

Dont think you wanna do this..grow your weed and cure it properly
and it will have an array of mouth watering flavors you cant possibly
want to switch for something else.

i know exactly what you're talking about man, i love the idea! the "romman" tobacco i buy is cured in honey. it smells SOOO good. im not sure exactly what else they put in it, but ill go buy another pack tomorrow and see. im sure you could just grind up weed, add honey and whatever else there is in there and it would give a clean smooth smoke from a hookah. good idea! im gonna check it out.

Yea i have never heard of honey with tobacco. But hey sounds good
I think if u get some artificial flavoring and add that to the Honey you will come out with one sweet ass mix!

See i was just reading a thread about Water curing, and apparently it gives the weed less taste (dont know if this is good or bad) but for the sake of this experiment thats probably a good thing, it will allow for more artificial taste.

Sorry for those who love the taste of weed, i just wanna see if this works

curing in honey or molasses wont have the same affect as water curing. Water curing works by leaching out the toxins and nutes from the bud, while honey curing simply masks the bad flavors and toxins.

Sorry, were not talking about curing in honey. I'm talkin about having already cured weed (water cure preferably) THEN setting it up to be smoked in a Hookah instead of Tobacco.

So when all the toxins and crap are gone, then we add the flavoring and honey.

ah alright my bad i thought you meant thought they cured in the same way. I think the way you want to do it will work fine. On a side note, does anyone know of any side-effects of smoking honey or molasses?

WELL!
There are apparently "serious health risks" for smoking a Hookah, BUT these are not from the molasses or honey, they just give flavor, the real health problems are in the chemicals released by the coals eg carbon monoxide

But trying to smoke honey or molasses (like in a joint) is just a bad idea it tastes like shit.
