Question Curing Time
I just harvested my top44 plant, and it came in at 31 grams wet. I have seen that most are drying for 7-14 days and was wondering if this length of time is really necessary for the small amount i have harvested?
It has been drying for two days in 80 degrees with 40 percent RH, the outside of the buds are starting to get crispy, but the stem is still bendable. How much longer would be recommended before curing in jars?
Thank You,
BlueberryDreams

I have found that the best way to tell is to check the little stems that are actually connected to the bud. If those stems snap easily then they are ready to cure.

It's pretty dry where I'm at, anywhere from 27% to 45% relative humidity and it usually takes my girls 2 to 4 days to dry. Oh and that is with an oscillating fan running on low, not pointed directly at them in order to keep up the air exchange...

Hope that helps ....

Absolutely, thanks. I just didn't want to dry them out too much by waiting seven days for the small amount i harvested.
