I think Im going to put in the 24hrs dark cycle
cause i have mostly all milky and their is a few scattered amber ones around the plant
any advice would be appreciated

Shes not done,wait until at least 1/2 of her hairs are amber.

I would say you can chop her down anytime, In my opinion 24 hours of dark isn't really needed, but when you do chop her trim all the leaves off right away its much easier than waiting a day helps in the drying process.
