Default cleaning curing jars
hi there,

i'm way off harvest but wanted some info on my jars im going to cure in.

at the moment i have 4, 1 is a mason jar and the others are old food containers. coffee, gravy granules that were used years ago.

i found them the other day and thought they would be ideal. i have washed them with clean water and washing up liquid, but they kind of smell.

i guess that would effect my cure?

i have put the jars empty, tops off outside in the clean air. and i intend do until harvest pretty much.

it's been snowing and raining today and i guess temps are going to drop. im hoping all the freezing and fresh water will clean my jars well?

or are there better methods?

thanks

Go purchase some more mason ones? Should not effect the curing process nugs may absorbed the scent from the jars slightly but SHOULD over power it in the long run after a few weeks of curing...

Make sure you rinse and dry WELL before putting the nugs in there... Any moisture and mold will appear.
