How can I mask the smell while harvesting?

OK so here is the deal, I had a couple of seeds that I planted back in May and they are almost ready to be harvested. I have been smoking for the past 15 years but this is my first grow. They were some random seeds that I found and I grew them outside. I used organic soil and some 15-30-15 fertz once they started to flower.

The problem I am going to have is that I snipped a tiny bud to check the trichs and it stunk up the whole house. Literally the bud was the size of my thumbnail. The plants are 2 different strains (Don't Know) one is small, dense buds and super stinky and sticky. The other has popcorn buds, not so sticky or stinky. I wanted to dry and then cure in my walk-in closet, but I can't let other people in the house know about it. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dubkid

I tried to upload pics but I got a site error saying I was missing a security token.
No lie this one plant which is maybe 16 inches tall can be smelled from 30 feet
away easy. Any Ideas?

that looks like a lowryder 2 plant. No real way of getting around masking the smell. Glade dont work...Open windows dont even work. Funny shit. my wife came home the other day and said the house smelled like a skunk...I had the same prob. Growing is not the prob, drying is.. I had 1 12" lowryder plant. That shit stunk from the basement to the 2nd flr. LOL

thats what i think i want/need to do, i think im going to use a doghouse and just make sure no bugs can get in it evwen tho its old and wooden, you guys thin k that might work?
