this is my first grow and I wanna make sure I get this straight. I chop the plant take off all the fanleaves let the plant hang in a dark space like my homemade rubbermaid with 2 fans installed for vent for about 4 days and then after that do I take off the stems and put them in jars?? or am I missing something? because I dont wanna do it wrong and have some nasty buds. Also the bud I have been getting recently is "too" dry. as in breaks up easily and feels stale in my hands. what can this be and how can I prevent this from happening to me...

Freezer/freezing, for one, makes cured weed texture do that, IMO.
