ok so i just harvested today.

i have the whole plant hanging upside down in my closet with a fan inside but not blowing on the plant.


i cut off all of the fan leaves already.

What should i do now?

should i keep the other leaves on or manicure them now?

and is this a good idea to keep it in the closet for a few days and keep the whole plant hanging or just snip all the buds off and hang them?

Manicure now. Remove the branches from the stalk. It will take for ever to dry your buds because theye is so much water held in the stalk so they will still get enough to hold up the drying process atleast 3 days. Ive cut the branches off the stalk to an inch below the first of the buds, then put a new fishing hook through the branch, and tie fishing line to the hook, and then tie that line to the fishing line Ive strung out. Make sure the branches are spread enough so they don't touch. Touching branches makes for a breeding ground to bud mold.

should i trim off all the leaves or just keep some of the leaves in the bud on to droop over the bud?

on my last harvest i did this and when the bud was all dry it didnt smell that potent, was it a curing mistake?

Its all preference. I personally like my buds removed of all leaves, but some like to make them aestheticly pleasing by just trimming the sugar leaves to the edge of the colas so that more resin is kept. All to what you prefer to smoke...perhaps try trimming sugar leaves to the edge for some of the colas, and remove all the leaves on other colas, and see which you like more...or what your clients like more if you take the same route as myself lol. You can try adding "Sweet" as directed on the bottle, this will increase aroma, and taste of the buds...this is added prior to harvesting though. How did you dry/cure your last harvest?

on my last harvest i trimmed most of the leaves off and left the suger leaves on, and trimmed more and more every other day. i left it hanging for a good 4 days and most seemed dry. i then cut most of the main cola and took off all the branches and let them hang for an extra day. i cut off all the leaves then and started curing and kept in a mason jar. i only cured for about 4 days from being too eager to smoke lol.

I trim mine completely and then dry/sweat em for a week. then into mason jars. seems to work well for me. hope this helps

thanks both for the help. i have trimmed and dryed. im sweatin them and put them in mason jars now.

in about 2 days ill send a pic of some of the buds once its alil dryer.
