Default should I separate branches or hang like in the pic?

Is it ok to hang the trimmed plant like in the pic? or should I separate each branch? Hanging the entire plant is easier for me than separating? Will it do anything to the taste?

Remove the stalk. A lot of moisture is held in the stalk, so it will take a lot longer to go through the drying process. Cut the branches off at the stalk so there is a "V" shape, this will make it easier to hang on lines. When hanging the branches make sure the individual branches don't touch, this will help prevent mold from growing on your fresh buds.
