This is my first grow so I am new to all of this. I harvested some of the lower branches of one of my plants monday night. The top needs another week or so. I trimmed them and hung them to dry in a small closet with a small fan. The temp was 79 and the humidity 50. I was expecting them to take a week or so, but the buds are already really dry and crispy. The stems don't snap just yet but they are close. I don't want to over dry them. Was the temp too high or is this normal? Should I put them into jars now or wait a few more days?

Thanks, it was bagseed not sure what strain but some kind of sativa. That is just a few of the lower branches of the smallest of three plants. The vast majority is still getting good and ripe. The three plants grew to about 7 feet tall. I didn't expect them to get so big. Kind of hard to manage but the yield will be great.
