Before i wrote this i was sure to search around for answers but i couldnt find em so here it goes.

I need to cure my buds without the parents knowing so if i do it indoors i must be sure the smell is not bad. and outdoors i need to manage humidity. so with that said is it possible that after i trim my plant to put the buds into a trash can (lid on) and have a sort of absorbent such as sillica gel or a sponge in there to keep humidity low. and after about a week i was thinking i would switch to the jar method.

if this wont work please tell me so i dont screw up my nuggets. and any modification to my plan that would improve it please let me know.

You do not need to worry about odors when you cure, only when you dry. Most people use mason jars which can be stored anywhere and are very cheap and available at most hardware stores. After you are done drying place them in the mason jars and open the jars 2 times a day and let them air out for 1 hr, do this for a week. After that you can just open them 3-4 times a week and air them out for an hour or so, you do this to let the moisture out of the jar. i am sorry i used the incorrect term i am referring to how i would dry them with the trash can.

its gonna smell inside. I neva dried outside tho. Can u dry in a cardboard box in ya closet?

You can dry anywhere as long as you can control humidity and temperature. Just make sure to circulate the air somehow. Pick up some Ozium if smell is that much an issue, all you need to do is spray a tiny amount and they wont smell jack! Good luck.

Ya Ozium is amazing shit, I used it when I lived with my parents. It EATS all the odors, even smoke! You can fishbowl a room, spray a tiny amount in the center of the room and watch the smoke literally get eaten. Hospitals use the shit to sanitize so it rocks!
