Does anyone know the exact name of the plant? Also do they sell the seeds at regular plant stores like Home Depots'?

Papaver somniferum is the poppy you want. You can find the seeds at a grocery store actually, McCormick sells the seeds as seasoning. I haven't sprouted them yet but I hear they are viable

I think its papaver somniferum. I believe some regular spice poppy seeds contain them. Yes, they will grow.

The seeds you are supposed will acctully grow? Do you germanate them like pot or just bury them in some good soil an hope for the best? lol

Haha its called the "opium" poppy for a reason and no they don't sell opium poppy seeds at home depot. You can buy them online pretty easily but manufacture of heroin is kind of looked down on They are pretty flowers though

Oh I don't wany to make heroin out of it, I'm not into that but I wouldn't mind trying some opium.

Just grow a few you scrape it off when the seed pods form its really sticky. It kinda just sedates and numbs you heavily and it is also highly addictive. You have probably already tried it in one form or another from your doctor or dentist. Effective pain killer and sedative but the side effects are nasty. That is why so many people are finding relief with MMJ they can use MUCH less opiate derived pain killers.

Yeah like I really wanna grow it an try it but I also hear it's very addictive, and I think I have an addictive personality, I mean the first time I decided to do E i ended up doiing it 4 days in a row.
