Well, let explain my situation. I've been smoking marijuana with my step dad for a while now and like a week ago he asked me to see if any of my friends or anyone at the nearby High School I knew could sell us some Magic Mushrooms as he wanted to try it as he's never tripped before. My problem was that I didn't want to start using Magic Mushrooms because experimenting with other drugs can lead to addiction to things like Cocaine, Heroine and LSD/Acid. I only smoke marijuana because it's a natural herb that has always been here on Earth with other plants. Although, after doing research, I have come to the assumption that Magic Mushrooms are all natural and don't have long term physical effects.

I too have wanted to trip, but I have a little obsession problem where I'll get obsessed with things I enjoy, like marijuana. Also, considering it's sold legally in Amsterdam, I assume it's not too much.

Now, for my question. I was wondering if Magic Mushroom's grow in the woods up north in Maryland and Virginia because in the woods behind my Aunt's house up in VA I found some mushrooms and my uncle said they were "poisonous". I'm not sure if he was lying, probably wasn't, but I think he does smoke weed so....

I heard there's a test you can do. Cut the cap off the mushroom and place it on Print Paper for 30 minutes and the spores should naturally fall off and turn the paper a purple-like color if it will make you trip. Also, if the stem/gills are Grey/Black they are good for eating.

Sorry for sounding like a pussy, I would just prefer not to fall under the stereotypical "I started pot and now I do Crack, Meth, Heroine, etc.".

mushrooms really aren't addictive along with other hallucanigens. I enjoyed them, the mushroom have golden brown tops, and if you rub your fingers underneath the cap on the gills it will turn your fingers purple, they also have a purple skirt on the stem.

Anyways, I hear the two common types in MD are Gymnopilus Junonius and Panaeolus Subalteatus. I may go looking through the woods today if I feel like it. Supposedly, this is what I'm looking for:

firrst make sure it looks like a type of magic mushroom that grows in ur area, then see the color of the spore print and see if it matches the color of that type if it does
then they will bruise blue. then u eat

look up indentifying magic mushrooms on google



if you go by those ways your gonna have you stomache pumped out


and more than likely they are poisenous, most magic mushrooms will be growing in horse or cow shit

Dont eat anything you find in the woods unless you know exactly what you are looking for. It's all too easy to mess up an identification and end up puking for the new few days/die.

leave the mushroom hunting to the pros, you can literally die eating the wrong mushrooms. When the time is right, someone will have a fat bag and dump some in your mouth (for a small fee). As for other drugs...i say go out and do em. Get ur dick wet, homie! Its true that you'll never be an addict if you don't experiment, but i'm sure that if you asked around, you'd find a lot of people who have experimented a lot without addiction issues. So long as you are attracted to the altered state of consciousness and are not obsessed with escaping your futile reality you will be a great drug taker. Let me just outline a simple drug routine that will keep you entertained and not drained.

pot everyday
boose 0-2 times/wk
cocaine 0-2 times/mo
shrooms and or acid 0-6 times/yr

that should keep you safe and conscious!

Yeah, I decided I'm just not going to do this hunting thing as I'd prefer living than dead....

I'll probably ask some of the kids I know at the High School if they know anyone. Also, sorry, but my views on marijuana are different from other drugs.

My experiences with shrooms have always been satisfying until afterwords. Mushrooms give you, or me at least, a feeling of depression for about 4-5 hours after the trip(coming down). Other then that tripping is a fun experience. Id pick lucy over shrooms anyday though.
