Alrgiht so i am really interested in growing mushrooms. I have a few basic questions about them. Can you grow mushrooms with cfl lights. 150w? Also im in the north eastern and i was wondering if i planted mushroom spores how long does it take to grow them. Lookin for the some good facts

Dont know much about growing anything but ,,Aint mushrooms stored in jars in the dark while waiting for the spores to grow ... I did not know lights were involved

they're not. that's why I told the OP to read up. Growing a fungus is a lot different from growing a plant.

Hazemaster i have grown shrooms b4 and you dont use lighting they need total darkness until the end if you have a kit wait until the mycelium turn white through the whole thing then takes about a month or so and then break up the rice looking shit and put it in the shit but putting a light on it would cause a bad mold which can look green or black throw it away if u c that cause u can really hurt someone once u see pinheads it takes about 15 days n theyre ready to eat just put them in the oven at 350º until they are dry need any other help just ask

It only takes 15 days from start?!?!?! thats amazing. So i just buy the spore kit and plant them in a bopx that contiain dirt. And just let them sit there for 15 days and they are done.

No the whole process takes about 2 months i said when the pinheads form u only have about 15 days left i can give you some numbers from washington the state they have kits you can buy for cheap and they are psilocybe cubensis one of the most potent ones i have a book that also tells you how to make pure psilosybin out of your mushrooms it some good shit but it is in liquid form better than eating that shit every time you want to get fucked up

Yea it usually takes about 1-2 months from multispore.
Cubenisis isn't one of the most potent it's just one of the most common.
woa woa woa that's some fucked up info lol. Heat damages shrooms potency, especially at 350. If your gunna dry your shrooms in the oven I wouldn't recommend anything over 120. It may take longer but shit, you wanna do it right don't ya?
Anyway. Hazemaster, shrooms aren't weed you can grow them with pretty much anylight. But like was said they only need light to fruit(at the end). I suggest you take bookworm's advice and read up on the shroomery, it'll be your most valuable resource in boomer growin.
