i am 130 lbs... fast motabolism.

i have a question..
the first time a took DXM's, it was 9 pills of Coriciden cold and cough. that approximatly 90mg's....
i felt pretty fucked up for about 6-7 hours.... i dont remember much, but i do remember seeing doubles and having my perception of distance altered (the room seemed larger)....

... so i decided to buy more CCC's while at camp... and do research on it...

i noticed that i experianced mostly the first platue on 90mg, but peaked at around the second platue about 2 hrs after the trip started (imagery affects such as choppy motion was apparant)....
i was high foabout 6 hours...

BUT- Totse says the second platue is acheivable only by 300 - 600 mg's...
i clearly didnt take that much...


is there a reason why i experiance the strong affects at such a low dosage? should i try adn take more DXM's (100-130?)

The dosage is measured in milligrams per kilogram, not just the absolute number of mg's. For example, if the dosage was 10 mg/kg, and you weigh approximately 60kg's, so your dose would be 10x60=600 mg.

Being 130lbs you were probably significantly less than the weight of the person who gave the example dosages. Also, these things affect people very differently. Even 2 people of the same weight who take the same amount may experience vastly different effects. Your mileage may vary etc. Take some time and calculate your desired dose starting with the lower end of the range. Being only 130lbs, you will probably be taking a lower dose compared to most people.

maybe because there is an additional ingredient in CCC that could possibly kill you... if you want dxm get a DXM only product robotussen makes many as was as some zicam's check the box for active ingredients do not be stupid

I agree, it's fairly easy to extract a nice dose from 1 bottle of tussen DM. Takes about 30 min to perform the extraction, a few minutes to evaporate most of the distilled water, and a few days for nice white DXM crystals to form.

Stay away from taking too much OC medications, CCC's are nasty for the body.
