ok i found some mushrooms on some horse shit today and they are little brown mushrooms that were in a cluster. ill get pics up in a few hours...but they have white stems and a droopy cap with gills that go from the rim of the cap at a 90 degree angle up to the center of the cap. the gills are pretty close together and are a light brown. any ideas?

Take spore prints
Take a cap off the stem and place it gills down on a white piece of paper.. if it turns purple, it has psyilicibin cubensis in it. if it turns, orange, brown black, white etc it is poisionous!!
So just look for purple spore prints. dont get it confused with black


wait atleast 45 minutes for the spore print to drop**

alright man im takin it know and ill post pics tonight...i was thinkin if it turned purple should i just eat one cap and see if i feel anything? or would i have to eat all of them?

cant you just bruise or squeeze them with ur fingers and if the skin turns blue/purple its psycadelic?

yea but it depends on how much it actually weights
most ppl need between 2 - 3 grams to actually trip, anything less then 2 is just a crazzzy fuckin body high/trip

yea that is another thing, if the stem and cap turns light blue when squeezed, thats another sign that its got psyilicybe cubensis

Yes its another way of identifying psilocybin mushrooms, but its not a sure fire way, other mushrooms containing poisons will do this also. What you should do is take not of every detail of the mushroom (spore print, shape, texture, growing conditions, time or year) and compare it to a referance book or online database.
