So the other night I was chilling at a friends house, playing some mario kart and smoking and drinking a bit. Nothing out of the ordinary. I finally left at like 2:30 AM and I hadn't smoked for like almost 2 hours. So I was driving my friend home and near his house I think I see a small animal on the road, but it's kinda of blurry because it looks like it's moving really fast. Like flapping its arms in panic or something. And it flies up (so at this point I think it's a dove) and I'm like "Kyle, wtf!?" (I even wince) as it hits my car! And for a split second I see bird feathers and splat (kind of like on Mario kart when you get the squid put on you). And then its gone. At this point my adrenaline is pumping and slam on the brakes and immediately pull over. And my buddy Kyle goes, "what just happened?" and I'm like "Did an animal just hit my car? Didn't I just kill a dove?" and he's like "um, no...are you still high?" Which, I don't think I still was. I might have been coming down. But I told him I was staying at his house for a little bit before I drive home.

So what I'm wondering. Do you think this would qualify as an acid flashback? If my buddy hadn't been in the car I would have pulled over to check my grill to look for bird guts, that's how real I thought that bird was. But I guess it wasn't. So what the fuck happened to me? Was I still just high you think?

yes!! it is very likely man. acid stays in your spinal cord FOREVER! lol so the more you do the more you'll have random trips like that. my best friends sis still sees shit like that. she says everytime she drives she sees a man riding his bike in the middle of the lane on the white lines. and she said he pedals sooo fast tryin to keep up with the traffic. she just laughs bout it now. pretty coooool man

This is why I love Acid more then anything in the world Because its the drug that keeps goin after its gone smoke weed while doing Acid and Weed will never be the same anytime I get high now its just sooooooooo much better and flashbacks just made me want to do Acid so much more Ive had a couple flashbacks since my Acid fun times and well its just fucking lovely I was watching king of the hill once and Dale's head went zskifjsdgf into 300 colours off my monitor then disapeared I was talking to my mom once and boom everything just went tottally different like no colours or anything just the way it felt and it had that acid look

Sounds like you had a little flashback there. Did you used to see birds when you tripped? I always saw cats. I haven't done acid in 8 years but i still see cats out of the corner of my eye, but when i actually look, it's a shadow, or a manhole cover, or a plastic bag, or something. Sometimes walls still breathe.

I've only had 1 episode that i considered a "real" flashback. I had been smoking pot all day at a concert/festival, and I'm in the bathroom pissing. I'm looking at the wall and zoning out a little, and the stall i'm in starts getting round and polka dotted and soon enough, reality just fell away. I started sweating bullets and my knees were jello, adn it was all i could do to get out of that bathroom... as soon as i got outside and the fresh air hit me i started coming back to normal, but for about 1 min there i was in the thick of it, mind and body... not just visual.
I'll never forget that day.....

that doesnt sound like flashback to me i mean really you dont see thingsa that arent there unless you are on a ridiculous amount of acid you know so a flashback should be mild i dont know if i even believe in them but if they do happen they would be mild like one day i wsas driving and i started to get tracers and everything tarted breathing for a little while like it does on acid so maybe a flashback butt i think it was something else

Cid does NOT stay in your spinal cord forever. Its the biggest bullshit myth out there. Please do your research before making irresponsible posts like that. Flashbacks are still a questionable side effect. I can tell you that most of the time its just you remembering the feeling or possibly anticipating a feeling. Just like when your hungry you can almost taste food. Flashbacks have never been proven and are considered psychological by most experts.

Once again I will say that LSD does not stay in your spinal cord. It is excreted out of your urine within 2 days never to be seen again.

Actually, this has been proven false for quite a long time. LSD is water soluble (not to mention easily destroyed in the presence of tap water), and does not stay in your spinal cord at all.
It's alright, though. We've all heard the urban legends, and I still have to assure people that popping their backs will not result in an LSD flashback (unless they are CONVINCED it will).

Anyways, it may have been an acid flashback. Truth be told, it sounds like that was a pretty vivid, true-to-life hallucination, which isn't something I really see on LSD.
