I get my shrooms from cow patties, you know the shroom when you see it. It has a white stem with a purple skirt and will leave a purple residue on your finger you you rub the gills. The top is golden brown and gets darker towards the middle. Don't go off of my recomendation though make sure you know what you have before eating it!!!

Discarded. I did go through my books, and other references. Smaller mushrooms were poisonous and the others were deadly. Thanks! Ill find some patties at my local farm, they let me roam the property, so itll be no problem.

Make sure to flick the caps over the patty after picking and to pick the mushroom only, leave the mycellium alone. That way you will always have shrooms to pick!
