the first time i ate shrooms (which was a while ago) i had a little more than an eighth. I got the body high and everything, but the visuals never came! i was disappointed, but nonetheless feeling good. This happened the second time as well. Since then i've had visuals but they aren't crazy, and i should be having more visuals for the amount im eating. Some of my freinds say it's because i might not have enough vitamin c in my body. Since then i've made sure to have a lot of vitamin c and it's helped but like i said, still no 'crazy' visuals just little things. So i'm pretty confused about it. anyone know what's up?

i hear the tops of the shrooms give you visuals and the base of the shrooms give you a body high.

not sure though, did you eat any tops?

yup i had several good sized caps as well as stems...

thats wierd dude... make sure you dont eat anything for like 4 hours prior to shroomin... maybe that will help

Um... This is what happens when people don't read enough (not you, but your source for this information).

They both contain the same active alkaloid: psilocybin. The caps just contain a little more... But just barely. It's been tested. People just think this because of what they're told and the placebo effect.

To the original poster though: Some people don't get much in the way of visuals. If that's what you're going for, you might be disappointed if you take more so you can get more visuals. You'll be so preoccupied with what's going on in your mind that you'll barely notice them, even though they're much more abundant if you take over five grams. I've tripped many a time, but before I took a quarter of some particular potent ones, I could count the number of visuals I had on one hand. Audio hallucinations are another story, however...

the first time i did shrooms i took about an eighth but i made tea with my shrooms and i kept the shrooms i made the tea with to eat after it took about an hour for me to feel anything then i was in wendys when i started to trip i couldnt stop laughing at the old people around me i felt like they were everywere like an army i felt like i was in world war 2 lol it was pretty fuckin crazy
