yea you have to know much more about it as a chemical what is it boiling point when it will burn off and i wouldn't put it in the microwave bad
if you get it too hot it will burn off and be nothing

i put it on a plate then boil water put the plate on the pan the steem will get the plate hot and you wait just when the k starts to bubble you put it right in the frezer for a few comes out good. or if you got time just set it out i never had time.

yea then the only thing i would worry about burning it off(too hot) cause all a microwave does is speed up the water molecules
