I recently have just tried acid for the first time. It was probably one if, if not the most, profound experiences of my life. I felt like I understood why we were all human, and I came out with a smile; it definitely enlightened me to nuances of the world around me.

Nonetheless, I couldn't wait to try it again. I have been doing a lot of research on the drug, and I am planning on tripping at the Coachella Music Festival next week to Roger Waters. However, I have one question from people who have used it a lot.

I have read in various articles that taking Vitamin C 2 hours or so prior to taking LSD mellows out the drug somewhat, and allows you to be more in "control" of your high. I am only curious about this because the first time I did LSD I had like "birth/rebirth" experience and the drug totally took control of me. I felt like I was in a dream watching myself and world work around me. I am not sure if I want this feeling during a music festival because I would like to remember it (somewhat) and be able to reflect on it. Has anyone tried the Vitamin C before tippin? Are the results better or worse than drug by itself?

I've never had any negative effects from drink OJ before or during. I've always rather enjoyed it.

it might be digestive, but if you are meant to take it a whole 2 hours prior, the chances are its psychoactive. antioxidants stop oxygen from corroding minerals like iron in your blood.

yeah, that's what im wondering. This will be my second time doing LSD and probably my last for a few months. I could see myself getting hooked on that shit. I just don't want to ruin it if the Vitamin C fucks it up. Just seeing if anyone else has tried Vitamin C beforehand and if the trip is better or worse.

Acidic things potentiate, and help breakdown the psilocybin, in mushrooms. Basically acting as step one in breakdown that your stomach performs, so it reacts that much quicker. IE search lemon juice method over on shroomery......Might bring up some stuff about acid as well.

LSD is potentiated by fuits though, mabey it just makes it so much more blissful to the sensations, so it dosent actually, you allow it to, taste to the 10th.

I remember the first time I used LSD. It was very enlightening. I began using it pretty regularly between 1996-1998. I mostly did it with the same 'safe' people.

OJ and vitamin C products are fine. The word back then was they actually made the trip better. Either way, it wont hurt.
