I've been talking about it for a while, and I thought i'd try em out next weekend for my birthday. Im completely fine with it, but my wife is scared shitless. She's fine with the effects, it's just the time period that's worrisome.
She thinks she's going to have to coddle me for 6 hours. So I guess my question is, what's it like? I know the effects are different from person to person, but give me a generalization. I'll be showing her this thread so she can see for herself.

There are lots of threads like this if you search, I would recommend LSD over the shrooms but if you wanna know about the shrooms it really depends on amount taken, potency, who you're with/where you are. I mean take it light for the first time and you won't have anything to worry about, actually it could possibly be one of the greatest experiences of your life if you just ride it

also i cant stress this enough...GO OUTSIDE!! its awsome one of the best things to do is look at nature on shrooms

I definately recommend it, never had a bad trip and all were the most amazingly "real" experiences of my life...just wait your in for a treat.
of course iv'e only done them a few times.

and i only drove around the block..im lucky it was 3am and noone else was around

I had too drive 3 miles from my girlfriends house to get home, It took every ounce of focus and concentration I had, and I was going like 25 mph in 45

2 - 4 hours of "damnnnnnn im shrooming" depending on method of ingestion I find. 5 - 6 hours more subtle and just a warm weird feeling after, smoking helps
