I have to post a thank you

to all of the good people here. I post on many sites, usually in regard to politics where my views are to say the least - met with hostility. In short, I am well hated in any number of other places - and this is where I come to relax, have my daily smoke, perhaps offer some advice but mostly just be here with you all.

I have posted things here that I would not and have not discussed with anyone else in real life and have never gotten "judged". Drugs have in one way or another shaped who I am and how I think about life and (rightfully) most people don't really want to hear that - drugs are supposed to be bad in any way shape or form. You people are generaly knowlegeable, you seem to care, you seem adventurous and many are highly knowlegeble.

I just wanted to take this moment to thank everyone here who has treated me graciously and actually read my boring old man stories about a culture that in most circles is shunned, scoffed at or actually hated. I mean really - would my daughter actually appreciate some of the stories I've related here?

Now I'm not sure if this was made to be replied to, in fact I'm sure it wasn't, but gonna say that I agree. This website is (aside from a few greenies who stray into the hallucinatory substances section and flip out that people are taking hallucinogens) very open to whatever it is you may do. Even the people posting about smoking meth or IVing heroin aren't disrespected or talked down to, just given facts and allowed to make their own decisions based on real information. We have some people who are good at what they do, and some who are absolute geniuses, but almost everyone seems to be a legitimately good person. The general acceptance on this site is out of this world, everyone's always just trying to help others and get their information out there. Plus, you have really interesting things to say, Canndo, it's not like we're being FORCED to read what you write. It's just definitely worth the read.

You remind me of some of the older folks i get the chance to toke with. They get to telling a story of their past while we puff and i just enjoy every second i can get of it, most of the time they dont notice when ive switched out the old joint with a new one and suddenly a "stop-by" has turned into "its dinner time, where is the nearest KFC/Taco bell". Other peoples stories from a different place in life than i am is interesting. So your detailed blurbs i get to read always end up with me researching something i wouldn't of thought to. So a big thank to you and others like MrEduck for posting such great interesting information.

I agree 100%. It's great having this small community of people to talk about our use, problems, and experiences. As you said Canndo, I post stuff on here I wouldn't even dare talk about to my real life friends/ acquaintances. They would look at me like I was a fucking lunatic.

Thanks to everyone who has ever posted something useful in reply to me or my threads, or just anyone who has helped out in general!

Through experiance we gain knowledge, yes I am close to 40 but most of my closets friends are 50 plus. I have always been mature for my age when most peeps were out drinking and partying all nite I was home, trust me i have partied proboly harder than most people but I didnt do it every weekend. Its tough to find a person you can talk to and vent your frustration. This forum is special because nothing is taboo and noone is forcing anyone to read a post. Most of the time people will be of help with personal issues, of course there is always an asshole. I am not hear alot i spend most of my time on another board that is strictly shrooms and no its not shroomery, that place is full of dicks and pricks. I try to help people with this hobby,I will provide information its up to you to read it. Canndo you have helped me in ways you will never know and I just wanted to say thank you. I Know mr duck also deserves a Thank you as well he has proboly saved more people lives with his knowledge of chemicals than he will ever know. Both of you make this section a special place and I cannot state in owrds the help you have given except in a simple thank you, the dedication is strong and will foreever be gratefull
