Nutmeg Extraction Question??
Ok I put about a half oz of powdered nutmeg in a glass. I added naphtha to the powdered nutmeg. I caped the jar off and shook the hell out of it. I let sit for 3 days in a dark warm spot. I did shake it up twice a day. I filtered the nutmeg naphtha into a glass dish so it could evaporate. Half the naphtha evaped so far. I looked into the dish and there is a white waxy substance on top of the naphtha. I think the substance is called Myristica. Can I get high off it?? If so smoke or eat??

Yup. Same as. Never even been able to eat the stuff on an apple slice since.

I do not have raw nutmeg I have what I believe to be myristicin not myristica as I stated on top. Now should I eat or smoke the myristicin? How much should I eat or smoke??

Use it as a suppository.
I came out with about a gram. I smoked 0.5 it gave me kind of a light headed feeling. I just ingested the other through my mouth, still taste like nutmeg. Not as a suppository. LoL. Call me crazy but I am not sticking anything up my bum. I will hit back if I feel anything.

Nothing. no high no trip nothing. I did wake up in the middle of the night with stomach pains. This morning my throat hurts from smoking it. Nutmeg extraction sucks.

I tried it once many moons ago. Two tablespoons in a small glass of milk. I could taste the nutmeg all afternoon. I sorta got high. Smoking rosemary was better. It really got me whacked. Don't recommend either.Originally Posted by haloman420
