Joe is an interesting fella, I thought of him as my idol years back when I was doing shrooms and acid.
Now that I'm mostly sober Terrence is the only guy I continue to idol.

10 minutes in hyperspace can feel like 10 years. I have a huge amount of experience with psychedelic drugs, and had dropped acid or eaten mushies more than 100 times before I ever breathed DMT vapors and I don't feel like I was prepared. Because you can't be. If you have issues try to work them out through other means before trying DMT. It is not like other psychs. If acid is like driving a car DMT is piloting a rocket. Do not take this shit lightly. It can be heavenly and reveal the truth, but it can be hell if you do not have the utmost respect for it. Learn to surrender to the experience. Because DMT can beat you into submission if ou approach it with anything but humility.

Its really hard to find, if you really want some you'd have to synthesize it or purify it from plants, (similar to how cocaine is made). If you go the chemical route, you'll have to figure it out, but here are natural sources of DMT.

I've done it thousands of times, and really, I think people over-hype it. It's pretty interesting... best after dropping a lot of LSD or another psych....but I think people make it seem more special than it really is.
load up as much as you can, and take as many huge hits as you can before losing it... that's the way to do it. I usually get 2-3 hits before leaving this realm.
