no brown rice?

man i have seriously looked at all the local stores for some brown rice flower wal mart mijers krogers and have not found it period is it possible to just pressure cook some verm then inoculate it with some spores and make some castings and do it like thar or can i just use the verm after pressure cooking it and leave them be and they will grow i got everything i need to start but the brown rice flower i litterally have everything else but that help please?

man im tellin your ive looked like 4 or 5 times and its a super wal mart and they dont have it at all ive even asked the people who worked there and nothing i mean do i have to use it can i just pressure cooke some verm in some mason jars?

if you are really in kentucky, or anywhere else in the desolate mid west, wal-mart does not have brown rice flour. They will have brown rice, and you can use a coffee grinder to grind it up and make your own flour out of it. You CANNOT use just vermiculite. The mycellium need food to live and grow, and vermiculite is pretty much just rock. The brf is the food for the mushrooms to grow on in a pf-tek. If you can't find brown rice flour and don't have a way to grind the rice up fine enough (a blender doesn't work well, and I burnt mine out trying) you will find rye flour in kroger. That is what I decided to use and my a-strain from lil shop of spores is more than half colonized on four out of four jars.

cool cool thanks for the help man you got a brand or rye flower thats good and yeah man ive fucking looked everywhere with no luck finding the brown rice flower
