I've heard a lot about this stuff, where can you buy it? I know you can buy seeds online and grow it yourself...but what about buying mature cacti? Is this something you can regularly find at stores?

I have noticed a lot of Internet businesses that offer Trichocereus peruvianus(Peruvian Torch) grow them on more of a production scale, instead of growing them slow to produce higher alkaloid content. With Trichocereus bridgesii this is not a problem as it produces a consistent amount of alkaloids. If I was you I would try ordering some bridgesii mid sections or a few rooted cuttings. Don't get anything powdered unless you know someone who has used the company before, for identification purposes.

you will want it fresh.
get Trichocereus pachanoi... (san pedro). get a couple cuttings, plant them, keep them for a couple months after they root, keep them in the dark for a week untill they look like they are getting a little wrinkly... then eat 1/2 to 1 foot section prepared like the indians do it. i would explain it but you could just look it up on EROWID.com... it's my bible. its a great place.
