its not he LSD or shrooms that will kill you. its that reality is pretty much completely changed while you're tripping and some people don't know what to do with it and don't play it safe and things go wrong. Thats why a trip sitter is such a good idea. they keep an eye on you and make sure you don't do something real stupid and hurt yourself somehow. I have been tripping and was walking around downtown and if it wasn't for my sitter i would have walked out in front of a car. i wasn't even paying attention to traffic (the water fountain on the other side was amazing) and he grabbed my shirt and pulled me out of the way.

ah ok =] thanks, also like potroast has already said in this thread,(thanks potroast for the best trip advice i have ever heard and will remember it always =]) something to keep in mind is that you have just taken acid/shrooms, and i can totally see why that is actually very important to remember because you may forget you have taken anything and freak out completely and may do something very stupid.

Best advice this whole thread though was def. to remember you took acid. I've tripped dozens of times, and taken a dozen doses at a time (literally), and the only time I had a bad trip was when I was to wrapped up in my mind to remember I'd eaten acid.

I've never done acid, but I was joking with a friend about seeing "saw" or "30 days of night" while on the trip, and he said that I'd go so insane from the trip, I'd die. Is that possible?

Youre in for an experience unlike any other. If you control it without using your mind, you'll see things (not always with your eyes) that will make you think differently about everyday situations. I am an avid experimenter with hallucinogenics (LSD, 2-ci, 2-ce, AMT, DMT etc...)... Check out my myspace, alot of my recent paintings have been inspired by some recent experiences I've had......the first time I ever ate acid, I thought it was never going to stop. The more I did it, the more I enjoyed it. Just go along for the ride and like someone said, say Hi to God for me....

I <3 Acid, 1 hit is just going to waste your time, take 2 hits for your first time, if you take one it will pretty much change your whole perspective that acid sucks cause you didn't trip. So EAT ACID AND LISTEN TO PSYOPUS and be happy.
P.s bring some buds with you, nothing is better than a bit of weed with an acid tip
