Syrian Rue

Has anyone had any experience ingesting Syrian Rue? I ground up a few grams of seeds and put em in with some mushie tea and had a quite expansive experience. wondering if these are psychedelic if ingested alone? I only had about a half eighth of fungi and could feel a heightened sense of spiritual presence. got me curious...these seeds are a true mystic.

their selective maoi inhibitors watch your self as somethings in your diet can be deadly to you with maoi's but again i said its selective so there is less of a risk with syrian but maoi's on their own arent bad at all and certainly makes a tolerance break from the ganj worth it if you come back to it on a maoi 1 hit might have you soaring

good to know... what are some foods that can cause MAOi's to be deadly??

They are active on their own, but you need to gradualy increase doses to reach that point, the tannins are quite hard on the stomach.
You can look into useing eggwhite to seperate some tannins out if you just make tea, I think I suggested it to Schwag who has confirmed it worked.
I prefer extracting the harmaloids (I don't bother seperating them - it is easy though you pick which ones you want by adjusting pH), its pretty easy and you only need stuff like vinegar etc.

No diatary precautions are needed, it is not a MAOI it is a RIMA which is a reversable inhibitor.

What happens with MAOI complications (the real ones) is that certain enzymes that clear the body of toxins etc., literaly takes weeks to build up to optimal levels once desturbed with a proper inhibitor.
During that time your body can not break down certain metabolytes. It is called cheese syndrome if you want to look it up... (you get it from eating things like fermented cheeses).

Another good use for rue is when you start comming down from MDMA, it will repotentiate the shit out of what is left in your blood.

Im pretty sure rue is "not a true maoi"

And you dont need to eat the right diet. Hit up dmt nexus its a rima.

But do avoid drug interactions though

"lease note: Peganum harmala (Syrian rue) is a stronger MAOI than Banisteriopsis (Ayahuasca vine) and has potentially more serious interactions."

time syrian reversibly inhibits mao-a but it does not mean that tyramine foods are A OKAY! because they can still cause quite a ass load of nausea to the user you just wont be hit by the dreaded serotonin syndrome

as well large amoutns of beta carbolines will have a mao-b affinity just not large enough to cause the most problems with regular maoi's

From my readings more people like caapi as its more gentle. Ive have not go to research with these yet soon though. But would you agree with that ANC?

They are diffirent yes, caapi is a bit more gentle, rue does interesting thing with time, but its a harsher teacher.
