hey, I'm getting close to fruiting some B+ I've dropped acid several times and I'm wondering how the shrooms experience compares with that of cid. i heard shrooms are not as strong of a trip, but I've also heard that you will trip balls for hours on 'em. what's the consensus?

Ive never had shrooms as strong a lsd, but have had some amazing trips off good shrooms. I like shrooms better because you know you will come down after a few hours.

just had a couple guys shrooming at my house two nights ago. they each ate a half eighth. and were tripping for about 5 hours. but like you said cid is much stronger than shrooms. just make sure your in a great mood and just relax.

I don't know about one being "stronger" than the other. I have a good deal of experience (several dozen trips) with both. From my experience, they are just very different trips. I suppose it is also worth noting that I have come closer to having a trip go awry with mushrooms than with LSD. There is something about the body effects of many mushshrooms I have taken that can really put me in an uncomfortable state. Also, I find LSD to be a much more "active" trip (for me). I feel much better motivated to go out and explore things than with mushrooms.

The last time I took mushrooms, I was with 4 other people, and we were in Washington, DC going through the museums. It is a thing that we loved to do on LSD, but mushrooms were the wrong substance for me. Every time my friends stopped walking for even 5 seconds, I would get down and lay on the floor. I just couldn't find the energy to keep going. Things became uncomfortable when a security guard at the Smithsonian started yelling at me for sprawling out on a bench. No one else who had eaten the same mushrooms had a similar effect.


So, really, I wouldn't call either one more "powerful". They just have very different effects for each person, and you must learn and respect that. You will eventually figure out which one better suits you, and know your affinities.

Oh, but as with any potent entheogen, respect your substance. You need to go into this with a responsible attitude and a clear mind. Know your companions and your surroundings well. By the time something goes wrong on your trip, it may already be too late.

lol the laying on the ground part is really funny to me because the first time I did shrooms(and hadnt tried lsd yet) I took them in high school on a finals day before christmas.... I would finish the tests as fast as I could and then lay on the floor my teachers thought I was crazy.

shrooms aint shit compared to acid..

I have done shrooms many times, "my neighbor grows them" and never done acid.. But my neighbor on the hand trips both alot and he prefers shrooms.. I love shrooms, especially with some killer bud..

ACID. Hmm. I do enjoy a trip but having seen some of the lazy slack and cheap methods of producing half dosed blotters i sometimes think that mushies would be the safer alternative. But then again some of the methods for mushies is just as questionable. Acid is much more potent than and shroom will ever be.

Acid is stronger by volume only.
The chances of you getting good strong acid are slim.
With shrooms if you dry a few hundred and then boil them up and make coffee with the juice i can guarantee you will trip a lot more than street acid

Also if you can get hold of fly agarics you will trip like you've never tripped before.
You have to be real careful with those buggers though as you can eat one bit and feel hardly anything and eat another bit and be wasted for 12 hours.
Can never tell how strong they are
