is it possible for there to be no DMT in the residue of the evaporated solution?

like the solution is turning more yellow, the more it gets evaporated, but i wasn't sure if that means DMT's in it.
if i used the wrong plant would there be any residue left?

i don't want to attempt to smoke dried naphtha if there's no dmt in it...

Sounds like its working to me as long as you defatted the extract everything will be smooth as for residue from another/the wrong plant if the plant has alkoloids then something gonna be left over. My friend has had yellow tint and red tints before in his organic solvent doing the dmt extract.

ahh that makes me feel better lol, i'd be pretty pissed if this whole experiment was a waste

but yea i defatted the extract, and damn this stuff takes forever to evaporate...
