The other thread was a review on the website i purchased the spores from (spore depot) and it turns out they are great because i got them 4 days later.

this however is my PF Tek Cambo first grow journal, and if they get contaminated which i tried extra hard not to. I still have one more syringe with 12 ccs in it. If they do get contaminated i'll show pics on where i went wrong so our fellow RIU members dont go through the same pains.

I dont even know how long i've been awake, but i've got a bag of chips and a powerade. Im gonna finish this blunt and stay awake so i can innoculate.

just innoculated. realized i had cambo and AA+
12 jars in total 1/2 pints was really careful about being sterile even created a sterilized environment by using the following.

I went to the "dollar tree" out here and they have those painting plastic sheets that are about 12 by 8 (ft) covered my whole work environment with it till I was done plus sprayed down with a Big can of lysol. plus useddisposable latex gloves and facemasks. "mouth is the dirtiest place on your body" no pun intended


they are all in a very clean dark dry cool environment now.

I've checked the jars and I think i see some weird spots on them... not really sure so i just stuck them back gonna wait a bit longer.

how long is the usual waiting time?

If you refuse to use a PC because $50 is too much money at Walmart for a 6 jar one, that's cool. Let the jars sit for 3-4 days BEFORE you innoculate them with spores. That way if there's going to be a little green, you'll know before wasting the spores in there.

Good luck, but shit man, you'll be bored the next few weeks, they just sit there.

Oh, to answer your actual question about how long the waiting time is before my PC criticism....

Let the jars sit 24 hours before you inject them. While the jar itself may be 78(f) on the outside, it could still be very, very warm on the inside. Spores dont live past a certain temperature, and it isnt that hot either........... Since they spend their next few weeks or a month in a jar, let em have a nice room temp jar to start in rather than chancing it. I still say let them sit 3-4 days before you inject anyway.
