in my area there isnt to many shrooms around so i figure i can grow some and make some profit...but i have a couple questions first, is there any other way i can sterilize my vermiculite an brf without a pressure cooker?...i have no way to get one....and were can you keep them while they colonize in the sealed jars?

You might be able to get away with either boiling xtra long, or possibly microwaving (depending on what kind of container your using)

You can colonize at decent room temp, but it will take longer. Ideally you want about 84-86 degrees. I've heard on top of the refrigerator is a good spot. Keep 'em in the dark.

I started my first grow a 10 days ago, got a bunch of jars about half colonized! I used a pressure cooker - no contamination so far.

im growing some shrooms heres a pic of about last thursday, i picked them on sunday evening, theres another flush coming though, this is the PF Tek method i lost 4 jars to contamination and i only have two cakes left and one has a bit of blue to it so its in a separtate fruiting chamer by its self to see if there is really contamination or its just my eyes or something

dude,..dont funk with this stuff,....you may as well be pushing LSD. im all about marijuana, for medical,religious and any other self spiritualistic stuff,..but my argument for pot always revolves around "health" as it is compared to all those "other" drugs,.im just not cool with all that other crap anymore,..including cigarettes and liquor. when i was in high school,..i did sell sugar cubes,..but man,..its pot or die bro.

thats what i did. it works great. i just started to get mycliem in my 1st bag and its been two weeks. all you do is shake the bag and put it somewhere 75+ degrees until its all white then u drop it in the compost bag. or in my case i have a huge tot im gonna fill with compost. this method takes no pressure cooker. they send you everything you need. but it is costly cost me 125bucks. i got an xtra book tho. and i got it within a week!

actually shrooms physically are completely harmless to you, taking to many cause extreme paranoiya and a upset stomach, you might hurt yourself from hallucinations or confusion, but thats why a safe enviroment is a must.
