boomer growers please enter

Honestly there's not much to growing boomers, just make sure to follow sterile procedure.

Spores last anywhere from months to fucking years. People have used 8 yr old spore syringes with great results. It's just the luck of the draw. I personally recomend you skip growing cakes. Cakes are a waste of time and yield low amounts of product. I say grow using a monotub. It's the same amount of work and you'll get a ton of fruits.

Once you learn what your doing mushrooms grow themselves and only need some very minor care. Most of the work done is prep work.

im reading up on shroomery now learning already. probably going to do the pftek just to get the hang of it. and go from there. im not too worried on yeild.

You'll most likely have a harder time doing the Pftek than a monotub...Seriously monotubs are set it and forget type of shit (they just have a lot of prep work). One equally sized monotub comparable to a PFTeks fruiting chamber will yield you 3-6 ounces. You'll be lucky if you get 3 grams (or less) dry off of each cake. Cakes suck! With my tubs I get one whole mushroom that out weights a whole cake's production wet and dry.

wow thats pretty impressive!! maybe i've been reading about the wrong methods, lol!!! the monotub is basically a tub with "shit" in the bottom for the mycelium to spawn, yes?

Basically, but yeah look at monotubs at the shroomery.
