Hi all... pretty new to the forums but have my own wealth of experience...

I recently had my ativans changed up to xanax with ambien as a backup. im getting 2 mg xanaxs, was previously being prescribed 3mg a night before with the ativans.... what is the highest amount I could get from my psychiatrist if I tell him I am still having problems? Is 2 mg the typical dose for xanax patients?

Secondly, is it ok to mix xanax with ambien and seroquil. in any combination or even blowing seroquil.

any opinions welcome just try to not bitch about it being bad and shit anyone who likes to do that out there...

taking xanax and seroquil is fine. Im currently prescribed xanax for the day time and then at night i take my seroquil to help me sleep and to stop my nightmares. I have taken them both at the same time and all it really does for me is put me to sleep quicker.

No clue what you mean by blowing seroquil so cant answer that part for ya.

I take 8mg's a day, so 4 2mg's a day. I've "been taking them" for 5 months now and i went to see my dotor last week to see if he'd up it to 6 a day but he said they usally won't go above 8mg's a day so he gave me a 20 a month script to 2mg nirivam on top of it but i think im near the max

How do you guys find Drs to give you this stuff? I got into a major accident and my Dr would hardly give me 10mg hydrocodone. After a few weeks, he lowered me to 5 mg, Im a big guy a still in a lot of pain. Drs seem scared to give you what you need bc of those that abuse them or they are afraid to get into trouble. I get horrible anxiety but my Dr wont give me Xanax.

i have a question about xanax, i heard it can make u halucinate, is it posible to halucinate 24 hours after taking. i poped a 2mg xanax and drank and smoked steadly not heavaly for 24 hours with a six hour nap about 8 hours after i woke up i believe i halucinated but wasnt sure it was extremly vivid and very real looking but what has lead me to question is the fact that what i saw directly related to what i saw on t.v. diectly before the halucination. i to this point believe what i saw is real but dont want to rule anything out also i use to abuse xanax for a short period of time(3 months) about 2 years ago i dont know if that afeccts the now. when i did abuse xanax i did halucinate but it was just colors and waves if any body on this thred knows the extent of xanax halucination let me know im courios and i also want to know if i really did see a rat?

Xanax hallucination? I have extreme experience with Xanax, never really hallucinated. Though right after I wake up I do often 'trip balls' I would attribute the hallucination to the halfway point between sleep and wakefulness.

they do that with the pain killers bc they don't want to get you hooked on them and be dependent on them. But you need to let the dotor know your having "panic attacks" to get that xanax. I don't know where in Texas you live, but I'm outside of austin and 2 words, Horseshoe Bay. The older the doctor the better.

About the blowing seroquel thing is I've done it before it sort of helps with the drowsyness and if i just stay up on seroquel i get fucked.. (Talking about like 150mg to 300)

does anyone know if it would be a good idea to take seroquel with vivance to make me stay awake? Not sure if that would be the best combination.


EDIT!!: I forgot to mention my doctor is prescribing my xanax (hence ambien backups) for SLEEPING! Pretty ridiculous.
