My wife REALLY likes shrooms and wants to grow them but I don't know the first thing about how. Doesn't matter though, I can figure it out. What I need from you guys is How to acquire the spores/kit safely. I live in CO and i hear they are everywhere but I don't want to go to Boulder sniffing around for nefarious looking individuals. I guess I need a kit? What are the details of ordering one and having it delivered to my region? What do i need to be wary of (if anything in CO)? I've tried to find this information out on my own but im having some trouble. Any info regarding my questions will be rewarded +rep style.

spores are legal in all but 3 states i believe(Cali, Georgia, and somewhere else) but i think your good in CO..order them online..sporeworks, hawkseye, ralphsters

I have heard good things about these guys, but don't have any personal experience with them.
I'll be ordering a bunch of cooking mushroom spores from them shortly though. The black morels look damn cool.

They sell both hallucinogenic and standard edible types.

I'm not sure what the law is in your area but up here in the cold north psilocybin are legal right up until the point where you dry them. Then they are considered a "preparation" and a no-no.

I got a couple of really good videos on mushroom growing off The Pirate Bay. I'll probably try the rye seed method.

Just remember, green (mold) is *bad* but blue (mycelium bruising) is okay.
