Whats up everyone. I've recently developed an interest in growing the highly prized magic mushroom. I've been doing my reading on technique, supplies, etc. I don't think it'll be too hard once I get going but I need your help. I'm thinking of going with some Golden Teachers from spores101. I'll be trying my hand with some verm/BRF cakes, fruited in a homemade rubbermaid container. I'm just wondering if 101 is a good site to do business with? if GT is a good starter strain? and maybe throw out any tips for the PF tek. I can't wait to get this project going, so hit me back everyone. Much appreciated.

I'm hoping to order some spores on Sun night or Mon morning. Is there a particular reason you chose the Tasmanian cubes? I never realized there was so much variety. +rep to you by the way. Thanks for the first responce.

I heard they were a big yielder and were somewhat easy to grow. I bought 60 cc of spores from earthstungue. I just received them I cooked a few jars with no pressure cooker just to test! Hopefully get one soon to do remaining ccs. I was amazed at the different kinds also, I just started growing herb now these too should be fun look forward to ur success!!

How long did you do your jars with no cooker? I've read from 60 to 90 min. Wish I had one but oh well. You checked out the 4 part tek video on youtube from MushroomsRR?

I just tried to keep it as hot as I possibly could I boiled them for abot 4 hours.. Idk if I will have any success I am using rye berry I read it's better to use a pc with rye. But I still have like 57 cc lol. Ya I have prolly watched it I've been reading into tons of different cultivation procceses

just wanted to say that almost all the cubensis are alike. shrooms are just like weed they even have different phenotypes. after this grow if you want something more difficult to grow that is 3-4 times stronger then cubes try some panolous cyans or pan. trop. one dry gram is about the same has 1/8 dry cubes.
