So my good source of spores is gone and im left with no good sources for spore syringues since i only grow 1-2 batches of shrooms a year.

anyone have places to suggest?

If you still have one of your syringes saved, you don't need to get a new spore syringe and can just buy a print (which are usually cheaper, and also give you a whole lot more spores)... if you're thinking "but I'm a novice and that sounds more complicated", well... it's not really. I'm a bit of a novice myself and have only grown shrooms for about a year now. I started with a grow kit that had everything put together and colonized, and then I moved onto syringes, and now that I have a syringe, I just sterilize it in the pressure cooker for 30 minutes and then make my own spore syringe..

Next time you grow, remember to make a few spore prints and you'll never have to by spores again!

I just take a disposable plastic cup (since it is likely to be free from airborn contanimants and because I don't have a shot glass to sterilize) and then fill it with some distilled water, and scrape some spores off the print and into the water (with an exacto knife that I head until read a minute or two before).

Saving a syringe and making your own spore prints will mean you won't have to buy spores again.

i do havwe a syringue on hand and all, i didnt take prints last time i harvested cuz like an idiot i was on shrooms while harvesting and well i sort of wastn thinkin know what i mean haha..... never again..... you can harvest weed baked but shrooms is a NO NO lol.

ive heard of sporeworks but got mixed comments about them. ill give them a shot and maybe start a grow journal here if i have time
