Like Florida, you will need to order some bark online, I suggest KT botanicals (not the cheapest, but great quality - some vendors sells other species as mimosa).
That step is totaly safe, as it is also used to make medicines, soap, shampoos etc... i.e. is not controled or monitored.

Then you will need to extract it yourself... which leaves you with peace of mind of haveing unadulterated spice.... There is nothing worse than wondersing "what was in there" when it seems you pass the hreshold between life and death.

P.S. there is a whole tek I posted on here, with the whole explanation of what to do. It is for beginners. It gives lower yields than the xylene teks, but it also has much less of the other alkaloids (jungle spice), which can be the source of some hectic trips. The white Naphta stuff tends to be very serene breathtakeing moments of "No fucking way, awesome, that is impossible" etc.

Once you are more experienced you can do the xylene tek, then go a step further and recrytalise the DMT in Heptane to form giant clear glass shard crystals of extreme purity... obviously a large part of the yield is lost as impurities (things that are not-DMT)

ANC, i did a second dish which was done and set to evaporate around 3:30 last night. i got no brown gunk this time but its 11:00am right now and its still not going milky when i blow on it. should it be taking this long? the first one didnt take as long but i think it had less naphtha.

edit- 12:30 it second dish finally turns milky when i blow on it... time for the fridge, then the freezer. almost done with the 3rd dish.

i plan on trying this shortly...my big questions are did you wash with sodium carbonate or ammonia afterwards(from what I read not necessary but can remove lye from final product for last pull) and how bad was the smell while the evap was going on? did you get a good yield off of 50g? As I do more and more research the more impatient I get...but this a luxury while my herb is more of a constant preference.

no wash after and the product smoked just fine. not harsh at all. the smell is really none, unless your standing over the dish, but i do wear a vapor mask just bcuz that shit gives me a headache after a while. i have no milligram scale so im not sure of the yield, also i only did one set of pulls the first night. im doing the other 2 sets now. and i should be able to get more off the same 50gs. the pics are of what i got from the first set, not sure how much it weighed. my guess is about 200mg's

ok cool, thinking of doing a lb myself to try out cause I found some seemingly reputable sellers on ebay of powdered root bark, but I'm anxious to throw the whole thing in my first attempt...it's good to know 100g can be worthwhile but i wanna make good use of naptha/lye when if this hypothetical situation was real of course. Lol man you got me even more impatient after reading this thread. I'm glad it worked great man...i figure even though i don't have a mg scale my scale does .01 grams so I can only measure if 10 mg intervals if anything but since I heard 30-100mgs are the range of doses I figure I can at least get close to where I want

i highly suggest trying a small batch before you throw your whole shit in there if you go for it. if youve never tried it you probly gonna mess up the first time and you wouldn't want to waste all that bark. that scale would work.

Hi, soz its getting a bit late, just to answer your question, yes it will take longer the more naptha you use... the smokeyness (percipitation) only starts forming when you reach a certain ratio of DMT to solvent... just let it evap some more, the DMT is not going anywhere... Now yo ulearned a lesson, use small pulls to save solvent. Remember to so your subsequent pulls in a hot bath (about 50C).

To answer the smell thing, open a zippo lighter... there! now you smelled it... thats about as bad as it gets...

Smaller is better, as I do more extraction I work with smaller and smaller volumes for optimal yields, now about 25 to 30g on a pint bottle...

P.S. there is a huge difirence between a 30 and 100mg dose... (we are talking anal probes in a UFO here) get a gram scale, mine was like $20 off e-bay, including shipping all the way to africa.
