Can anyone tell me what kind of prescription drugs are available over the counter in Mexican pharmacies?

pretty much anything you want. i would say if you're going to go down and buy somthing find a dr. and get a prescription first. if you don't and get caught by the police you'll have to buy your way out or go to jail. the prescription won't mean anything when you try to bring it back into the us but it might keep you out of trouble in mexico. i spen 4 hours in the back of a patty waggon and cost me $80.

Thanks for the quick reply. My ol' man is goin down there for work and he recently had a wisdom tooth pulled out that was fused to his jawbone so he's in a bit of pain.

if he has a rx from a us dr. it's all good he can evean bring back up to a year suply of his meds with no problems at the border or customs
