Under the right setting, and mindset, Salvia can be a totally mindblowing and spiritual herb. I have personally had success with salvia, and saw wonderfull and strange things alike. It has also taught me alot. Using Salvia the right way will also increase the high.

Yeah, I'm right with you, Stealing. I can see how somebody going into it with the wrong expectations or the wrong mindset would be really freaked out by the experience, but overall, Salvia is utterly fascinating. The thing is though, the peak is so short that even if you freak out, you'll be back in about twenty minutes, if that.

But it's definitely nothing like any other hallucinogen, let alone weed. If you expect a comfy background tingle or an "I'll be able to function normally" experience, then you're in for a plot twist. It's not inherently uncomfortable, it's just much more active than, say, weed or shrooms. It certainly takes your situation and runs with it, so if you're in the dark listening to scary music, be ready to literally be a part of the room and the music. Without question, the craziest experience I've ever had in my life was my first time on Salvia.
