Default JSweet's Cambodian Grow Indoor

What up everyone. I recently got me some cambodian spores from Ralphsters. I grew these little guys using the cake method in half pint jars. I got a nice little setup using a couple of plastic storage bins. I am controlling the temperature with a water heater. The smaller bin is resting on top of water inside the bigger bin. I am using perlite on the bottom of the fruiting chamber for high humidity, a little air pump that recycles the fresh air twice a day, and a couple of little LED closet lights that shine through the sides. These pictures are from the first flush, and I am about to redunk the cakes to rehydrate them for the second flush! All suggestions and compliments are welcome...........What do you think?

Very cool! I wish I knew more about those but I barely have time to grow weed. Are there a lot of different 'strains" in shrooms? I used to eat them a lot when younger but only tried one type of shrooms (that I was aware of).

Oh yah! There are alot of different strains of Psilocybe Cubensis Mushrooms. I got the cambodian strain just because it looked like the kind of shrooms that I have eaten in the past. I have also seen the Texas, and B+ Strains as well!

That looks awesome dude. I was going to get one of the growkits and just do it in a cupboard, but that looks like the fucking tits. I am inspired, checking aquariums on ebay now.

Cool man, thats exactly what I did! I came across a Vision Ultra Grow Kit on Ebay, I think it was like $75.00, Plus $20 I spent on the spores, and that was it. 6 weeks later and there you go some premo shrooms, can't wait to eat them this weekend! Cambodian is suppossed to have alot of psilocyben in them

What up guys, here are some pics from the second flush. I think that the PF Tek, or the cake method, doesn't produce heavy quantities, I would like to try a bulk grow next time!

Good suggestion...you could cut little squares of aluminum foil for each cake and set the cake on top. I just noticed you were using one sheet of foil for all the cakes. If you have squares of foil to fit each one that will leave perlite uncovered and help with humidity. Are you fanning and misting every day? Know anything about liquid cultures? I can give you good help on going from PF to bulk if you need it.
